Role Overview

• As an AI Engineer at Cognexa, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions for our clients
• You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze complex data, and create scalable models that address real-world challenges
• This position offers a unique blend of technical expertise, client interaction, and strategic thinking

What you will do

• Solution Design: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into AI-driven solutions
• Algorithm Development: Develop and implement machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and statistical models
• Data Preprocessing: Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights
• Model Training and Evaluation: Train, fine-tune, and evaluate models using relevant metrics
• Deployment and Integration: Deploy AI models into production environments and integrate them with existing systems
• Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to deliver high-quality solutions
• Client Interaction: Present findings, explain technical concepts, and guide clients through the implementation process
• Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with AI research, explore new techniques, and contribute to thought leadership

Required skills

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or related field
• Strong programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks
• Hands on experience with development of AI solutions (deep learning, reinforcement learning, natural language processing or other algorithmic domain) and their deployment in production or test environments
• Proficiency in data manipulation, feature engineering, and model evaluation
• Communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
• Logical and abstract thinking skills, including the ability to formulate solution concepts, identify underlying assumptions and hypotheses, and test them
• Ability to identify limitations of the approach and gaps in your knowledge and questions that need to be addressed
• Prototyping mindset – ability to come up with an imperfect but quickly attainable solution
• Previous consulting experience is a plus
• Fluent written and spoken English
